About Us

Summary

Madison Christian Church is an independent congregation that fellowships with other Christian Churches all over the world. We are not affiliated with any denomination and simply follow the teachings of Jesus as presented in the divine word of God, the Bible. We own no allegiance to anyone except God's Son, Jesus Christ. We have no creeds but Christ, no book but the Bible, and wear only the divinely given name of Christian.

In all matter of practice we desire to follow the example of the early church within the book of Acts. Each Sunday we gather for fellowship, prayer, the Lord's Supper, and Bible teaching and preaching (Acts 2:42)

We believe the Bible teaches that God's free gift of salvation may be attained through:

Belief in Jesus as God's Son (Mark 16:16)

Confession of that belief (Mathew 16:16)

Repentance of Sin (Acts 2:38)

Baptism (Acts 2:38)

Obedience (Mathew 28:19-20)
